As a therapist, I prioritize collaboration with clients to create a team-like atmosphere. I specialize in helping adults and adolescents overcome a range of mental health concerns, including relational/developmental trauma, poor emotion management, anxiety, depression, eating disorders and ADHD. I have also gained experience working with couples who need help navigating infidelity, intimacy, breaches of trust, communication issues, parenting differences and polyamorous relationships. I believe that with the right support and guidance, anyone can achieve lasting positive change.
Through evidence-based techniques and an individualized approach, I work with clients to develop the skills and strategies they need to thrive. My primary therapeutic approaches include Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), Mindfulness & Self-Compassion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). In my work with couples, I use a Psychobiological Approach (PACT) that combines attachment theory, developmental neuroscience, and arousal regulation to help couples reach secure functioning, become experts on each other and improve their relationship dynamics.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Communications from the University of Ottawa. I am fully bilingual and can offer services both in English and French.
